June saw the start of a new POW group comprising of children rescued from Kolkata’s heaving railway station, Sealdah. Our youngest child is a 2.5 year old girl who articulates speaks of the abuse she received from her drunken father. It was most heartening to see the turnaound in the children’s behaviour in the first class itself. Kolkata POWers -Sarika, Riddhi, Shampa and Pradip are working wonderfully with this group.
