Receiving the Award ‘Iconic Women Creating a Better World for All’. I dedicate this award to the Paint Our World children. This award was given to me for my writings esp on women empowerment, my work as an Analyst and my effort to shift the definition of POWer with Paint Our World – in short, for all that I love doing. What made this award ceremony unforgettable for me was that some of my Paint Our World children were present with me. And my most meaningful reward was when they posed with my award in hand and looked to me with smiles in their eyes and said “Didi, we will work hard so when we grow up we will also get awards and make you v proud.” Many congratulations to my most inspiring fellow awardees. Immeasurable gratitude to the All Ladies League n the Marriott for enabling two unforgettable days of learning and solidarity. Immense, immense gratitude to all these most beautiful people.
