Today I was a part of 2 panels on education in London. The panels bore the stamp of rigorous research and courageous storytelling. My first talk disrupted the very notion of education as understood in the conventional sense of attaining degrees. And today I got my audience to sing with me :)! My second talk embraced defining education as that which creates ‘a life’ as compared to a livelihood and cited examples from our work at Paint Our World. I defined education as ‘the DANCE OF KNOWLEDGE’ and then went on to understand knowledge in a holistic sense. Most of all I was in exceptional company – inspiring and beautiful….here’s to ‘the fun in learning, teaching and sharing’and to the beautiful people – thank you Harbeen, Vinay, Reena, Viola.
