A man saw an elephant and was surprised to see it was held by a small rope tied to its front leg. It was obvious that the elephant could break the rope easily yefor some reason it was not doing so.He asked the mahout why.

‘Well’, mahout said, ‘When it was young and small, we used to tie it with the same size of rope, which was good enough to hold him’.

‘As he grew up, he continued to believe that the rope is good enough to hold him and he can’t break away’.
